October 2003: Japan Polypropylene Corporation succeeded the polypropylene business of Japan Polychem and JNC Petrochemical Corporation and has been established the largest polypropylene company in Japan.

Japan Polypropylene Corporation (JPP) has a long and wide experience in the polypropylene business, and has developed excellent polypropylene manufacturing technology. The JPP HORIZONE Process (formerly known as the JNC Petrochemical Corporation Gas Phase PP Process) is the result of this development.

Japan Polychem Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, and owns Japan Polyethylene Corporation and Japan Polypropylene Corporation.
